   After   the   Palestinian   diaspora   in   1948   and   1967,   and   the   continued   occupation   of Palestinian   afterwards,   Palestinians   scattered   all   over   the   globe.   The   ‘International Palestinian   Mathematical   Society’   website   was   desgined   by      Ramzi   Al-Sharawi,   and sponsored   by   Dr   Ziyad   AlSharawi   and   Dr   Yousra   Altel.   The   website   offers   a   variety   of different   features   that   allow   its   users   to   easily   gain   information   about   Palestinian mathematicians   or   mathematicians   of   Palestinian   origin.   To   avoid   misconceptions, Palestinian   origin   is   defined   as   anyone   who   has   traceable   roots   that   go   back   to Palestine.    Also,    Mathematician    here    is    defined    as    anyone    who    has    a    traceable records   of   publications   in   Mathematics.   If   you   find   some   information   or   contents that   need   to   be   added,   modified   or   deleted,   please   feel   free   to   contact   the   developer by clicking here . Moreover,   this   website   also   aims   to   provide   young   Palestinian   mathematicians   and scientists    with    up    to    date    information    about    a    variety    of    different    math    related issues,    such    as    universities,    conferences,    and    Math    journals.    Through    the    user- friendly    design    and    ease    of    moving    through    the    different    pages    througout    the website,   the   IPMS   website   hopes   to   reach   a   wider   audience   so   as   to   publicise   the increased popularity of Mathematics in Palestine and throughout the world.
